Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 379 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 504, 506, 447, 337, 364, 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation, the accused persons, equipped with lathi, rod etc., came to the house of the informant and they started knocking at his door. The named accused persons started assaulting the members of the prosecution side. The co-accused Guddu Kumar asked the informant to vacate the house and assaulted him. All the accused persons also assaulted Ajay

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the title in respect of the land dispute was held by the consultation authority in favour of father of the petitioner. He has submitted further that none has suffered any kind of injury. On the other hand, the learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 379 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) Cr. P.C.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
