The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No.210 of 2021 registered for offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Recovery of illicit liquor has been made from a public place not owned by the petitioner.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the bamboo clump does not belong to the petitioner and he has clean antecedent.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed. Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62890 of 2021(2) dt.25-05-2022 2/2 of his arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No.210 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. The petitioner will visit Paroo Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
