The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under sections 47 and 48 of the Excise Act, sections 2, 3 and 4 of the Mahua Flower Control Act, 2006 and sections 414 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is that the police seized a pickup van and recovered 20.25 quintals Mahua Flowers from it and one Pramod Kumar, who was apprehended from the vehicle, disclosed that the same was of the petitioner and others. 4.

The petitioner submits that the seized Mahua flowers did not belong to him and accused Ramakant Sao, similarly situated, has also allowed anticipatory bail by order, dated 11.7.2016, passed in Cr.Misc.No.27303 of 2016. 5.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, if the petitioner

No.25647 of 2016 (3) dt.14-07-2016 as named above surrenders he would be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.4,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Danapur, Patna in Bihta Police station Case No. 16 of 2016, one of the sureties would be in the form of cash surety.
