Father of the petitioner died on 09.07.1987. The petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondents to consider his case for compassionate appointment.

Earlier the case of the petitioner was rejected on 04.05.2000 being time barred. Now we are in 2018 and as such the Court is not inclined to grant indulgence and issue any direction to consider the representation dated 17.08.1987 which was submitted 31 years back by the mother of the petitioner. There being a long time gap this Court does not find any merit in this application.
