It appears from the record that the petitioner has been granted provisional bail vide order dated 23.02.2023 for the period of six months from the date of order on the ground of exploring the possibility of amicable settlement between the parties and the matter has been referred to Patna High Court, Medication and Reconciliation Center, Patna.
In light of the order dated 23.02.2023, learned Mediator has submitted his report dated 06.04.2023 which reveals that the dispute between the parties has been settled. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in terms of the settlement agreement, the petitioner has already credited Rs. 2,00000/- (two lakh) in the account of the informant
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53391 of 2022(5) dt.27-06-2023 2/2 and as per terms of the agreement, Rs. 1,50,000/- is to be paid within a period of two months from today.
Learned counsel for the informant accept the contention of the petitioner and informs this Court that the informant has received Rs. 2,00000/- in terms of the settlement agreement and he also submits that he has no objection if the provisional bail granted to the petitioner is confirmed. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the report of Mediation, provisional bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 23.02.2023 is confirmed in connection with Murliganj P.S.
