The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 341, 323, 307, 337, 338, 325, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 15 named accused persons including the petitioners arriving at the house of the informant assaulted the informant and her husband and other family members. Petitioner Ranjit Manjhi assaulted on the head of the husband of informant by means of rod while Mithun Manjhi assaulted on the hand of the informant by means of lathi inflicting fracture injury on her hand.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49943 of 2019(3) dt.04-11-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have no concern with the aforesaid occurrence. They have been falsely implicated in the case due to animosity. There is a case and counter case between the parties. Injury sustained by the victims are simple in nature. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State opposed the bail petition. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Gaya in connection with Khizersarai P.S. Case No. 75 of 2019, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
