The petitioner, who is named accused in Khaira P.S. Case no. 267/2015 registered for the offence under Section 307 and other allied Sections of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that except the informant, no witness has said regarding involvement of the petitioner. He further submits that number of witnesses have said that the petitioner was not present at the time of occurrence . On the aforesaid ground, learned counsel for the petitioner has made a prayer for grant of anticipatory bail. Besides hearing learned counsel for the parties, I
