The petitioner seeks regular bail in G.O. No. 310/2018 (Excise Case No. 978/2018), registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a), 56(b) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

In the written report it is alleged that 120 litres of illicit foreign liquour was recovered from the truck of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is driver of the said truck. He is in custody since 15.09.2018 having clean antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.73275 of 2018(2) dt.10-12-2018 2/2 prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000 (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Nawada in connection with G.O.
