The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Raniganj P.S.Case nO.97 of 2018 dated 25.3.2018 registered for offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is about recovery of one country-made pistol and two cartridges from the possession of the petitioner and he is accused in other cases. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has remained in custody for more than eight months and ready to abide by any condition imposed upon him. Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71541 of 2018(2) dt.10-12-2018 2/2 circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S.Case No.97 of 2018 with condition that one of the bailors must be close relative having sufficient property within the jurisdiction of the court concerned.
With the aforesaid observation, this application is allowed.
