The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of her arrest in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 66 of 2020 dated 23.07.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 325, 354(B), 427, 379, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been alleged that over the issue of a goat trespassing into the land of the informant and destroying the ladyfinger crops, an occurrence took place in which the petitioner is alleged to have given a farsa blow on the informant. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the case has been lodged after one day of the occurrence and there does not appear to be any injury report on record. The

Regard being had to the background facts and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, she is directed to be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on her furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 66 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
