1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Rupau P.S. Case No. 23 of 2024 dated 20.04.2024 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504, 506 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the allegation made in the F.I.R. the petitioner assaulted the informant's brother / Ranjit Yadav by means of "tangi" (axe) due to which he sustained injury on his head.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The informant drove the tractor through the land of the petitioner due to which damage was caused to the wheat crop.

5. Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that from perusal of the impugned order and the injury report it is evident that injury caused on the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56550 of 2024(2) dt.04-09-2024 2/2 head of the informant's brother - Ranjit Yadav by the petitioner is grievous in nature.

6. Regard being had to the nature of allegation and the injury having been found grievous on the head of the victim i.e. Ranjit Yadav, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected.
