The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with a case registered under sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26(1) of the Arms Act and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegations in the F.I.R., 185.190 litres of liquor, a country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He has no antecedent and is in custody since 6.10.2020. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking

No.16994 of 2021(3) dt.13-08-2021 2/2 consideration the petitioner having remained in custody for over 10 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Bhorey P.S. Case no. 321 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj.
