2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No. 173 of 2025, dated 05.06.2025, lodged under Sections 137(2) & 87 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as "BNS, 2023") and under Sections 8 & 12 of the POCSO Act, pending before the Court of 7th District & Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act, East Champaran, Motihari.
3. As per the prosecution, there is a specific allegation against the petitioner that he, along with others, kidnapped the informant's daughter with a view to marriage.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel further submits that the FIR has been lodged with a delay of three days. Counsel further submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean. Counsel also submits that the victim has not narrated anything adverse against the petitioner.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that, on the date of the alleged occurrence, the victim was a minor. Counsel also submits that there is a direct and specific allegation against the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
