2. This writ petition has been filed by two teachers working in Vankatesh Sanskrit Primary-cum-High School Vankateshwar Nagar, Raja Bazar, District Jehanabad seeking a direction to the State to give grant in aid to the Vankatesh Sanskrit Primary-cum-High School.

3. It has been contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the grant in aid to the Vankatesh Sanskrit Primary-cum-High School is periodically given by the Central Government on a recommendation of the State Government under a particular scheme. The scheme, however, has not been enclosed by the petitioners in the writ petition.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has further submitted that under the scheme which has not been enclosed, it is the school which is entitled for a grant in aid from the Central Government on the recommendation of the State Government.

5. The school concerned is not before this Court seeking for the grant in aid.

6. Under the circumstances, I am of the considered view that these two teachers working in the Vankatesh Sanskrit

Patna High Court CWJC No.12540 of 2025(2) dt.05-08-2025 3/3 Primary-cum-High School would not have a locus standi to file a writ petition on behalf of the Vankatesh Sanskrit Primary-cumHigh School, seeking direction to the State authorities to provide grant in aid to the school unless specifically authorised to file the writ petition on behalf of the school by the competent authorities of the school itself.

7. That apart, the petition is also not accompanied by the scheme under which the grant in aid is sought for, for the school.

8. Under the circumstances, this writ petition is hereby disposed off with a liberty granted to file a fresh writ petition by the person aggrieved by enclosing the relevant scheme under which the grant in aid is sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, that may be filed.

9. The writ petition stands disposed off with the above liberty.
