Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Manjhi PS case no. 230 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Section 376 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to surrender before the learned Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-XIIIth, Saran at Chapra, within a period of four weeks from today and avail the privilege of regular bail, nonetheless, seeks a direction upon the learned trial court to consider and dispose off the regular bail petition, to be filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53909 of 2023(2) dt.23-08-2023 2/2 the very same day. It is directed accordingly. 4.
