The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Cheria Bariyarpur P.S. Case No. 203 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under sections 302 and 201 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of double murder.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that save and except suspicion there is no material to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State has submitted that some miscreants including the petitioner entered

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14347 of 2015 (4) dt.23-07-2015 2/2 into the house of the informant. They were in search of Gulten Singh. Subsequently, the dead bodies of Gulten Singh and one another were recovered from a lonely place.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Pradeep/- U T
