The salary of the petitioner has been attached as per directions of the Station House Officer, Daniawan to the Branch Manager, State Bank of india, Gulzarbagh following institution of a police case arising from Alamganj P.S. Case No. 164 of 2015 registered for offence punishable under Sections 406 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code and another arising from Daniawan P.S. Case No. 67 of 2015 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 409, 420, 466, 467, 468, 472 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
Patna High Court CWJC No.3726 of 2017 dt.16-11-2017 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that the accounts have been attached following the institution of the criminal case, the petitioner may raise his grievance for releasing of the bank accounts by filing appropriate application before the appropriate forum but not by way of writ petition. The petitioner if so advised may take recourse to the same. The writ petition is disposed of.
