JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "[1] For direction to the respondent Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Service Commission to announce and publish a fresh date for Physical Evaluation test (PET) pursuant to Advertisement No. 01/2019 for those female candidates including this petitioner who have qualified in the preliminary test and written test as well but could not appear in Physical

Patna High Court CWJC No.18693 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 2/3 Evaluation Test (PET) on the schedule date because of advance stage of pregnancy and have submitted application for extension of time for physical Evaluation test.

[II] For a direction to the respondent Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Service Commission to allow this petitioner to participate in Physical Evaluation test after fixing a date afresh as she had submitted application for extension of time for physical evaluation test in view of advance stage of pregnancy substantiated by medical report at the centre of physical evaluation test i.e. Shaheed Rajendra Prasad Singh Rajkiye Uchch Vidyalaya (Patna High School) Gardanibagh, Patna.

[III] For declaring the result dated 17.06.2021 published by Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission, discriminatory, as the same has been published without affording equal opportunity to participate in physical evaluation test of all successful candidates of written examination specially those female candidates including this petitioner who could not participate in physical evaluation test on the schedule date because of advance stage of pregnancy."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the

Patna High Court CWJC No.18693 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 3/3 writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
