Petitioners seek bail in Rafiganj P.S. Case No.65 of 2018 registered under Sections 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that his daughter Anita Devi was married to Vikash Yadav, Son of Late Bigan Yadav but immediately after marriage, the accused persons started subjecting her to different sorts of torture for demand of dowry and his daughter was done to death and her dead body was hurriedly cremated.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is grandfather-in-law of the deceased. Of course the informant made allegations that the petitioner assaulted the deceased on 22.04.2018 but the allegation is palpably false.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71898 of 2018(2) dt.10-12-2018 2/2 Other in-laws Bihari Yadav and others and Mukesh Kumar and others were granted bail. The case of the petitioner stands on the same footing. Husband is in jail.

Taking into consideration the facts that the petitioner is the grandfather-in-law of the deceased and other similarly situated co-accused/in-laws have been granted bail, petitioner above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Aurangabad in connection with Rafiganj P.S.
