Petitioner is aggrieved by seizure of the pick-up van. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No. 264 of 2020, pick-up van of the petitioner bearing registration no. BR29GA-8445 has been seized and Confiscation Proceeding Case No. 23 of 2020 has been initiated. Learned counsel further submits that pick-up van of the petitioner was seized and if it is not released on appropriate security then the vehicle of the petitioner may be rendered useless due to prolonged

In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is directed to approach the Collector, Saran at Chapra by filing representation along with a copy of this order for release of the pick-up van after enclosing necessary documents of ownership and on filing such representation, the Collector shall pass appropriate order for release of the vehicle on appropriate security deposited by the petitioner. Necessary decision in this regard may be taken by the Collector, Saran, Chapra within a maximum period of three months from the date of filing of the representation.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
