The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special (Excise) Case No. 458 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 6 liters of illicit liquor from the courtyard of the house of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and as far as the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is concerned, the petitioner is accused in one other case, however, he is stated to be on bail in the said case. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise Act, Saharsa in connection with Special (Excise) Case No. 458 of 2018.
