The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 304(B)/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death. The daughter of the informant was killed by the F.I.R. named accused persons including this petitioner due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. Thrust of the allegation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody. Petitioner is separate in mess & property and has got no concern with the affairs of deceased and her husband. The allegation of torture and demand of dowry is general and omnibus.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53866 of 2022(2) dt.20-12-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of her arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Masaurhi (Patna) in connection with Dhanarua P.S.
