2. Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner.

3. The petitioner has approached this court with limited prayer seeking direction to the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Samastipur to dispose of Matrimonial Case No. 183 of 2018 at the earliest within a time period.

4. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that after recording evidence of the petitioner, the respondent appeared and sought time on one pretext or another. The evidence of the respondent was closed on 26.11.2021 and thereafter, when the matter was fixed for final argument, the

Patna High Court C.Misc. No.824 of 2024 dt.05-12-2024 2/2 respondent again appeared and sought recall of the witnesses of the petitioner. But she is not interested in disposal of the matrimonial case and wants to delay the disposal of the same on one pretext or another.

5. Since the petitioner has approached this Court with limited prayer seeking direction to the learned trial court to dispose of Matrimonial Case No. 183 of 2018 at the earliest, I do not think that there is any need to issue notice to the respondent.

6. As the matrimonial case has been pending since 2018, learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Samastipur is directed to proceed in the matter showing urgency and try to dispose of Matrimonial Case No. 183 of 2028 at the earliest preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, the present petition stands disposed of.
