The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the First Information Report, but subsequently, in the confessional statement made before the Police by one Dipu Kumar, the petitioner's name has been brought in the present case. He further submits that such a statement made before the Police has no evidentiary value.

Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances and the nature of allegations, let the petitioner, in the event of his

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25905 of 2016 (3) dt.02-08-2016 P2/2 arrest / surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 192/2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
