The petitioner seeks bail in Sikandara P.S. Case No. 243 of 2018 registered under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The police intercepted an auto bearing registration No.BR-02AA-9230 in which two persons, who were driver and occupant of the auto, were apprehended. 54 liters of country made liquor was recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not the owner of the auto rickshaw. Petitioner is in jail since 18.10.2018.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.73676 of 2018(2) dt.12-12-2018 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge II, Jamui in connection with Sikandara P.S. Case No.243 of 2018.
