The petitioner seeks bail in Sonepur P.S. Case No. 576 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, while informant along with his wife was going to Darbhanga on motorcycle, on the way, four miscreants riding on two motorcycles came, stopped their motorcycles and on the gun point snatched gold chain and Mangal Sutra from possession of his wife and fled away. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor any incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. During course of investigation, name of this petitioner has come in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63806 of 2021(2) dt.21-02-2022 2/2 Santosh Kumar. Petitioner has not been put on test identification parade till date and has been remanded in this case on 04.08.2021. Investigation is complete.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 576 of 2020.
