The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B, 341, 323, 498A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, the sister of the informant was tortured, assaulted and done to death by the petitioner by pouring kerosene oil on her. The occurrence took place for nonfulfillment of the demand of dowry. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. He is innocent. He is in custody since 26.9.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. Investigation in the case has concluded. Heard learned APP for the State.

No.63673 of 2021(3) dt.13-05-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegations against the petitioner who happens to be the husband of the deceased together with the contents of the postmortem report, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
