2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 840 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 351(A), 379/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, when the informant was sleeping in her house, the petitioner entered into her house and attempted to rape her and when the informant raised alarm, he assaulted her on her head due to which she sustained injuries. On hearing hue and cry, the family members of the petitioners also came there and assaulted her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the dispute arose due to quarrel between two sisters-in-law (gotni). The petitioner is brother-in-law (devar) of the informant and he is a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53512 of 2023(3) dt.08-11-2023 2/2 person of clean antecedent. There is no injury on the person of the informant.

5. On the other hand, learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Supaul in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 840 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) CrPC. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) jyoti/- U T
