Petitioner is in custody since 6.12.2017 in a case registered for offence under sections 8/20(6)(ii) (c)/22C of the NDPS Act for the recovery of 100 kilograms Ganja from the Husk house of the petitioner.

Trial court's report dated 3.9.2019 indicates that the trial is expected to be concluded within six months. In view of the nature of allegation against the petitioner as well as the report of the trial count, petitioner's prayer for bail is rejected. Let the trial be concluded within a year.
