The present writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing the notification no. 5509 dated 26.09.2023 issued by respondent no. 1, the Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, Bihar with respect to respondent no.4, the Municipal Commissioner, Darbhanga Municipal Corporation, Darbhanga.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will be suffice if sympathetic consideration is given by the respondent no.1, the Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, Bihar, Patna as according to him the

Patna High Court CWJC No.12077 of 2024(2) dt.13-08-2024 2/2 way the Municipal Corporation, Darbhanga has raised the taxes, it has become impossible for the people to run any kind of business in the said city. He submits that he will be filing representation within next four weeks.

4. In case, such representation is preferred within the stipulated period, it shall be taken up by the respondent no.1 and after hearing both the petitioner as also authority/representative of Dabhanga Municipal Corporation shall be taking a decision in next four months.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
