1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the
Patna High Court CWJC No.18784 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 2/2 following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of appropriate writ / writs, order / orders, direction / directions particularly a writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding and directing the Respondents No.1, 2 & 3 to conduct an Enquiry with regard to appointment of Sri Pradeep Kumar Sharan who is working as Button Pat Chalak (Key Pad Operator) Category-Il in the Office of the Executive Engineer, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, Buxar (Bihar) since 1991 who was appointed on the basis of forged certificate and after enquiry take proper action against him."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
