The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case no. 522 of 2018, registered under Sections 273, 275, 276, 420, 414, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27(d), 28(A), 36(AC) of the Drug and Cosmetic Act and Amendment Act, 2008.

The accusation is that in course of raid at Bus Stand, Patna 59 cartons of medicines lying, 29 cartons were found genuine and Rest 30 cartons were left unclaimed and on one carton, the name of the petitioner Ranjeet was shown. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, petitioner is the salesman of M/s. New Aditya Medical Agency, Murliganj and he came at Patna on the instruction of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53299 of 2019(4) dt.23-10-2019 2/2 the owner of M/s. New Aditya Medical Agency to take medicine from M/s. D.K. Pharma and after getting the same, the same was kept in a carton and name of the petitioner was detailed on the said carton. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Sessions Judge-Icum-Special Judge, CBI-II, Patna in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 522 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
