NILU AGRAWAL ORAL ORDER 03-08-2016 This modification application has been preferred by the petitioner for modification of the order dated 17.05.2016, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 10088 of 2016 whereby he was granted anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender within eight weeks from the date of the order in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 293/13 to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he is a Government employee working as SubInspector in Border Security Force and could not surrender within the time granted as he could not leave his place of posting and the period of eight weeks has expired and prays that the period be extended by further eight weeks.

Under such circumstances, let the period of surrender granted by order dated 17.05.2016, passed in Cr. Misc.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32687 of 2016 (2) dt.03-08-2016 2/2 No. 10088 of 2016 be extended by another eight weeks from today and to that extent the said order is modified. Modification application is, accordingly, allowed.
