1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For quashing the order contained in Memo No.136 dated 15.03.2009 issued by the Respondent no.2, whereby and whereunder the Arms License of 315 bore rifle having License No.274/2000, 38 bore revolver having License No.271/2000, and 2 barrel guns having License No.280/2000 have been suspended with immediate effect and the petitioner was directed to deposit the arms in the Bela Ganj Police Station within 24 hours and further show cause
Patna High Court CWJC No.11863 of 2023(5) dt.16-07-2024 2/2 notice on propose cancellation of arms license was also issued to submit reply within three days. (ii) For giving a direction to release the 38 bore revolver of the petitioner in his favour or grant him permission to sale the same with permission to purchase another revolver."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 14.04.2024, passed by the District Magistrate, Gaya in Arms License Case No.1 of 2024, whereby and whereunder the arms license of the petitioner has been cancelled, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
