The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Maigra P.S. Case No. 17 of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under sections 147, 148, 149, 337, 427, 504 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the prosecution case, one Anil Kumar Chaudhary, was arrested in Maigra P.S.Case No.16 of 2015 and taken to the Police Station, whereafter a mob of 40-50 persons attacked upon the Police Station. They wanted the arrested accused to be handed over to the mob. The petitioner is one of the named accused in the FIR.

Regard being had to the nature of allegation, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42355 of 2015 (2) dt.09-10-2015 2/2 inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is rejected.
