Petitioner seeks bail in Sugauli P.S. Case No.171 of 2018, registered under Sections 498A, 323, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner is the husband. The wife of the petitioner made allegation of demand of dowry and torture. The informant alleged that the petitioner assaulted her and her mother. It appears that the marriage was solemnized six years ago. The petitioner is in jail since 22.05.2018. Considering the nature of allegations and the fact that the petitioner being the husband is in jail for about seven months, petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with
