The petitioner being the mother of the husband of the complainant is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of dowry demand. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that thrust of accusation against husband of the complainant, who claims to have divorced the complainant as per the Muslim rites.

Considering the thrust of accusation against the

No.40565 of 2015 (2) dt.28-08-2015 husband of the complainant, let the above named petitioner be released on bail in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Complaint Case No. 283C of 2015, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Indian Penal Code.
