2. Learned counsel for the Vigilance filed a counter-affidavit in the Court. Let the same be accepted and kept on record.
3. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
4. It is alleged that the petitioner used forged and fabricated certificates of his educational qualification for the purpose of his appointment as Teacher.
5. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and have committed no offence. A supplementary affidavit has been filed on behalf of the petitioner in which he stated that on the recommendation of the In-
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55634 of 2023(2) dt.31-08-2023 2/2 formant Vigilance Department, directing all the employment units to terminate the services of the petitioner along with others against whom FIR has been lodged for securing their employment as teacher on the basis of forged certificates (Annexure-2). He further submits that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 05.07.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.33867 of 2023. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
6. Learned APP for the State as well as learned counsel for the Vigilance opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
7. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his/her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/Successor Court in connection with Kateya P.S. Case No.250 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) shikha/- U T
