KUMAR ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 15-03-2021 Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s): "(i) A direction be issued to the respondents Police authorities to release Mrs. Priya Kumari, wife of the petitioner from the hand of Private respondents no.8, 9 and 10 wherein respondent no. 8 is the father of the Priya Kumari

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.12 of 2021(2) dt.15-03-2021 2/2 and respondent no. 9 and 10 are happened to be her Uncles who they all have confined her in house at his resident.

(ii) Further direction be given to the respondents police authorities to handover Priya Kumari, wife to the petitioner after release. (iii) A direction also be issued to the respondents Police authorities to protect the life and liberty of the wife of the petitioner, Priya Kumari because of the fact she is being torture by her family who they are parties to this writ application. (vi) Any other relief/reliefs be given to the petitioner as he entitled in the eye of law." Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition reserving liberty to take recourse to other remedies, as are otherwise available in law.

Prayer allowed.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.

Interlocutory application, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
