The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20, 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act and under Sections 419, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. A report was called for from the learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Bhojpur at Ara about the stage of the trial. The learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Bhojpur at Ara has reported that all the prosecution witnesses have already been examined and the case is likely to be concluded within two months. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the trial is itself at its fag end, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21834 of 2014 (6) dt.28-07-2015 2/2 and conclude the same within two months from the date of receipt of this order.
