The petitioner wants correction of his date of birth in his passport but it does not appear that he has filed any application prior to Annexure-2 which appears to have been sent to the authority on 13.07.2016 by registered post and on 1.08.2016 itself, this writ application has filed.

In above view of the matter, let the petitioner file a fresh application before the Regional Passport Officer, Patna (respondent no.2). If such application is filed, let a decision be taken on that in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of filing of such application along with a copy of this order.
