The petitioner seeks quashing of first information report of Danapur P.S. Case No.551 of 2014 dated 17.11.2014 registered under sections 498A and 499 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The allegations made in the first information report do constitute a cognizable offence. In that view of the matter, I find no merit in this application.
Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
