JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 21-08-2025 In the instant writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to cause survey of land recorded in the name of the petitioner/Rayat in Mauza Araji Baraji Chapar, Revenue Thana No. 189 and Mauza Balagachh, Revenue Thana No. 191 under the Special Survey and Settlement Act, 2011.

2. It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the State that the petitioner submitted a representation before the Additional Chief Secretary Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Government of Bihar and Director, Directorate Land Records and Measurement, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Government of Bihar, Patna for the same relief by filing an application on 17th of April, 2025. The said application has not been disposed of by the concerned authority.

3. In view of such circumstances, the instant writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.13381 of 2025(2) dt.21-08-2025 2/2 petition is disposed of directing the Respondent Nos. 2 and 5 to cause survey of the lands of the Rayats of the above-named two Mauzas within 8 weeks from the date of communication of the order and publish the survey report in accordance with law.
