In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Vikram P.S. Case No. 134 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police has intercepted a "Pulsar" motor cycle bearing Registration no. BR 01DW 0226 and a "Glamour" motor cycle bearing Chesis no. MD2A11CY8JRG27435 and as per the seizure list, from the dickey of Glamour motor cycle, two bottles of liquor containing 750 ml in each bottle and two bottles of liquor in same quantity from Pulsar motor cycle has been recovered and seized. Apart from, 25 plastic bags in which 744 bottles liquor containing 750 ml. in each bottle has also

Looking to the recovery of huge quantity of liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below and prays for regular bail, the court below will take decision in accordance with law.
