The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No. 64 of 2017, registered under Sections 30(a), 41(i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. The allegation against the petitioner is that the police while on patrolling saw that two women carrying cartons coming from south soling road of Pasi Tola. Upon seeing the police party both women fled away, after throwing the cartons in light of the vehicle, the Halka Chaukidar namely Vishwanath Choudahary identified both the ladies as (1) Saraswati Devi wife of Rajendra Pasi, (2) Anita Devi D/o Rajendra Pasi. Altogether, 41 liters of illicit liquor have been recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

After having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent of similar nature of case as stated in paragraph 3 of this application, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
