The petitioner seeks bail in Mufassil P.S. Case No. 78 of 2021, registered for the offence under Sections 498(A), 302, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons committed the murder of daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Petitioner happens to be mother-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and torture against this petitioner. Petitioner is separate in mess & business and has got no concern with the family affairs of deceased and her husband. In fact, the deceased herself committed suicide. Husband of the deceased is already in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63556 of 2021(2) dt.21-02-2022 2/2 custody. Petitioner is in custody since 24.08.2021. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Katihar in connection with Mufassil P.S. Case No. 78 of 2021.
