Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners seeks to file a detail representation before the Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department, Patna for considering their case in accordance with law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Amresh Kumar Sinha & Ors. v. The State of Bihar & Ors., reported in 2023 SCC Online SC 496 and the clarification made by the Hon'ble Full Bench of this Court in the case of Kamlanand Thakur Vs. State of Bihar & Ors.

Patna High Court CWJC No.11643 of 2024(2) dt.06-08-2024 2/2 (C.W.J.C. No.18727 of 2017) & other analogous cases.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, the petitioner, if so advised, may file a detail representation before the Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department, Patna, who will examine the service particulars of the petitioner and consider the case of the petitioners in accordance with law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Amresh Kumar Sinha (Supra) and the clarification made by the Hon'ble Full Bench of this Court in the case of Kamlanand Thakur (Supra) expeditiously.

4. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
