Patna High Court CWJC No.4178 of 2021 dt.21-12-2021 2/3 Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s): "I. For issuance of appropriate writ/writs commanding and directing the respondents authorities, particularly respondent authority concern for immediately make payment of admitted dues of amount of Rupees 9,26,000.00/- (Nine Lakh Twenty Six Thousand only) for which the petitioner is legally entitled as a remuneration for performing Nukkad Nataks in different blocks within the district of Madhubani, as the same has been withheld and not being paid to petitioner without any cogent rhyme and reasons, which is highly arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional, violative of Article 14, 15, 19(i), (g), 21 and 23 of the constitution.

II. For further commanding and directing the respondents particularly respondent authority concern to the make payment of aforesaid legal due amount of petitioner within reasonable stipulated time period with 12% statutory interest till the date of payment without any further delay.

III. For further commanding and directing the respondent authorities particularly respondent authorities to not create any hindrance and raid tapism in payment of aforesaid legal due amount of petitioner and same should be paid to petitioner as soon as possible.

IV. For any other relief/reliefs for which this petitioner is found entitled by this Hon'ble Court in light of the present facts and circumstances of the case."

From the response affidavit, it is clear that the petitioner's request for clearance and payment of bills is pending consideration. The respondent has requested the District Magistrate, Madhubani for sending the report which is yet awaited.

Shri Naresh Dikshit, learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4178 of 2021 dt.21-12-2021 3/3 respondent Corporation, states that petitioner's request dated 14.09.2020, pending consideration, shall be considered and appropriate decision taken after due verification of the facts, in accordance with law. He further states that needful shall positively be done within a period of two months and the payments released, if found due and payable, within a period of one month thereafter.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Interlocutory application, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
