2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 537 of 2022 arising out of Uchakagaon P.S. Case No. 132 of 2020, lodged on 09.05.2020, under Sections 302, 120B/34 of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 29.11.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 64682 of 2021 with a direction to the Trial Court to expedite the trial as early as possible and liberty was granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail nine months from the date of rejection. Counsel submits that nine months have elapsed but the trial has not been

4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that the progress report has been called for and from the progress report, it transpires that the Sessions trial is pending for argument but it also transpires that the other co-accused persons who are on bail are delaying the trial using different tactics. Therefore, the Trial Court has demanded further six months time to conclude the trial .
5. It is hereby directed to the Trial Court to identify the reason due to which delay is going on in the trial and, if any accused persons, who are on bail, are making delay then appropriate legal steps shall be taken against him. It is further directed to the Trial Court to conclude the trial within four months from today.
6. In this view of the matter, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
