JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-12-2017 The petitioner is said to have passed All India Secondary School Certificate Examination, held by the Central Board of Secondary Education, in the year 2014.
The name of the father of the petitioner, it is being claimed, is Vijay Kumar. The father's name of the petitioner has, however, been entered as Vijay Kumar Singh in the marks statement, migration certificate and certificate issued by the Board. It appears that Vijay Kumar Singh was the name entered as father's name of the petitioner in the admit card also. This application has been filed seeking direction to the Central Board of Secondary Education to correct the father's name of the petitioner as Vijay Kumar in place of Vijay Kumar
Patna High Court CWJC No.6901 of 2017(2) dt.19-12-2017 2/2 Singh, in the aforesaid documents.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the nature of relief sought for, this application is disposed of at this stage itself with a direction to respondent no. 3, the Regional Officer, Central Board of Secondary Education Regional Office, Patna, to consider the petitioner's case if the petitioner files an application seeking correction within one month from today along with all supporting documents and information.
The respondent no. 3 will be required to consider and decide the petitioner's claim within two months from the date of filing of the representation by the petitioner. This application stands disposed of.
